First of all I'd like to note that I take NO credit for this photo whatsoever. This photo was done by a professional photographer named Florian van Roekel.

The photographs turned out amazing! I'm very thankful.

This is the costume I made for my Drow character on a LARP event.
Her name is Inafay Illian'fyn'cal, she's the house matron.

The top and the bag on the belt is made of two types of green leather. I'm especially proud of the dress. It turned out quite amazing, I think.
I suppose it isn't quite a traditional Drow outfit as people might expect it to be. But I felt like trying something original.
Looks awesome!
Thanks!
The costume is much more like what an ancient Unseelie or Svartalf might wear, and a refreshing change from the leather/metal lingerie-with-weapons-and-cloaks look that 80% of dark elf imagery contains today. More class, less comic-book superhero.
One small criticism only: posture. As the matron of a house, and an elf, I imagine she would be little more aristocratic in bearing: proudly straight backed in posture, head up, chin tucked back in icy contemplation, even as she slips unnoticed through the night.
Otherwise, an effective piece of imagery that portrays it's subject with more imagination and art than the majority of it's peers today.
The non-standardised type of look for a Drow is pretty much what I had been aiming for. I felt like I wanted to go a diffrent way and tried to aim for an elegant simple swampy-type of feel. As I strongly believe black isn't all that good for a universal solution to everything.
I do see your point in your critisism aswell though. Probably a matron of a house would present herself diffrently in a presentation-kind of situation. I didn't see the taking-of-a-picture coming at this specific time though. But I do really like the sneaky-ness of how it came out. And it's likely that Inafay isn't exactly an image of a day-to-day matron either. But that's a long story.
Thank you for taking time to write such extended feedback! I really appreciate it.
