Bracer by Lynfir Bracer by Lynfir
I can be so incredibly creative with titles for stuff from time to time!
T'is so, anyhow.

This was made quite a while back to match the top I've posted earlier. In fact, after this, I got so wound up in making a set of this style that I've made a complete breastplate of it. Havn't taken pictures of it yet, but it is to be uploaded soon. Hopefully.

aw yea.
Not selling too much?
Well, I have enough to buy the stuff I need, and since I'm only 16, so still living with my parents, I don't have to pay rent for a home, gass, water, electricity, insurance, food. etc. so the money I get totally gets used on larp stuff, books and clothes. Lol :) tough I don't buy that much clothes...

Well, I've kind of stopped doing comissions. I've grown rather tired of them and I need to get off production for other people for some time.
For now I'll stick to private work and perhaps selling some of that. :)

Hah, I'm 22 and still living with my parents for now, so there! I do actually rather like it here though. Nice to live with them and I'm not bothered by bills too much either. But I'm likely moving out not too long from now.

I CAN SEE IT AND I AM JUDGING YOU POORLY

kidding of course, unless you put a big red circle around it I don't think I'd ever notice.
But you pushing yourself is what produces such cool stuff so keep up the good work :)

Oh, damn. I'm so very sorry. :(

People might not notice, that's true. But it annoys me, so it has to be done. But it annoys me so that I can't get myself to give it much attention right now. :P

I know the feeling, haha. Then again, if you let it sit long enough, maybe it will not feel like a mistake?

Oh, but it does. I will fix it some time soon though, hopefully.
It's likely to be my most time-intense work ever so it would be a shame to just let it gather dust.

Really great looking bracers, Lieke! :D
Actually been searching for similar looking bracers, I'm in negotiation with a Leatherworker from Poland, to perhaps make a set.

Btw! When're going to meet up again? ^^

I think it's actually quite funny that somehow everyone in the Netherlands decides to order stuff in Poland. Perhaps I should move there, so people from the Netherlands might find my work more interesting.
But heck, people like me in America so I don't care.

Don't know. I think I'll be at the tabletop thing saturday. You?

8th?
It's a free day for me, but I've talked with Marianne. And I agreed I'd go visit her in Utrecht, her new Address!
Quite a pity when 2 days later, I got the mail from Astrid about the game-night. =\

Well, I guess it is strange indeed.
Please believe me though, in my case at least, it's nothing to do with your skills and abilities. (cause you certainly dont lack there!) My reasons for going there, hmm.. I usually check around on various sites, see something I like/want. And, stick to that person/site instead of figuring out that you might also be able to make it. :)
Your work is certainly interesting, I love your work, love you as a person, love your hugs too! :D

'Aight. Have fun there! :)

And oh please, I didn't mean it in any way like that. People should do however as they wish, and I am not the least interested in whatever they choose, as long as they're happy with it. ;) I just found it a funny development, is all. :)

Love your style of leathercrafting. The heavy stitchwork is very stylish. Tooling and design really works with the rest of your gear.

That's really cool! I like how the patterning on it reminds me both of leaves and spider-webs. And of course you are once again doing a brilliant job of using the texture-effects of the stitching as part of the styling. Beautiful work all around!

You have to upload your stuff right away, and not prolong it xD Always nice to see what you have come up with :D Though it would be nice to see what you would do if you had to make something more.. standard? (Civilized-looking or so to say) I hope you get what I mean ^^ (I love all the tribal-stuff you make)

I knooow.. I'm an awful procrastinator. I've quite a bunch of stuff hoarded up here to still be taken pictures of.
I'm awful like that. ^^;
Something standard? Well, what's the fun of making something standard? :P And to make something civilized looking I should know the definition of civilized. I actually have something civilized among the hoard of picture-taking line-up right here! Or well, it's rather civilized at that. ;P

Thank you!
